Age 76, mother and mentor, passed away on Monday, September 26, 2005. She was born on November 5, 1928 in Ionia, MI the daughter of Ray Earl and Ethel (Mason) Badder. Mrs. Macauley worked and retired from Social Services, dedicating her life to helping others. Marian was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Robert Singleton Macauley; brother, Earl Badder. Surviving are her children, David (Shirley) Macauley, Todd (Joyce) Macauley, Sally (Carl) VanDomelen, Beth (Bill) Lewandoski, Bob Macauley, Mark (Jill) Macauley and Matt (Tracye) Macauley; 8 grandchildren; sister-in-laws, Betty Coash and Sally Macauley. The Funeral Service will be conducted by the Rev. Scott Anderson, Pastor at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, September 28, 2005 at St. John's Episcopal Church, 107 W. Washington Street, Ionia. Interment will follow at Tuttle Cemetery, Ionia. The family will receive friends at the Schrauben-Lehman Funeral Home, 220 Rich Street, Ionia from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday. In Lieu of Flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the St. John's Episcopal Church, in memory of Mrs. Marian E. Macauley.
