Ionia Age 68, passed away on Friday June 19, 2009. She was born October 7, 1940 in Ionia the daughter Wesley R. and Lavona I. (Nimze) Peabody. Marilyn enjoyed sewing, puzzles, hanging with her grandchildren, camping, card and board games, watching ice skating and the" Wheel of Fortune". She is retired from Atwood Corporation in Lowell after many years of service. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Robert Peabody; sisters Elaine Cook, Joan Thorp and Katy Ray. Marilyn is survived by her children Sally (John) Hughes, Lena Warren, Kathy Preston, Stanley Preston and Mark (Stacey) Preston; 16 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; sisters Helen (Gary) Smiley and Brendy (Neil) Curtis; special niece Cindy Voorheis. All family and friends are invited to a memorial service at her home, 340 Division St, Ionia at 12 noon on Thursday, June 25, 2009.
