Marion Miller

Age 84, loving mother and grandmother, passed away on Thursday, January 8, 2009. She was born on April 3, 1924 in Ionia the daughter of Herbert and Gertrude (Gilliand) McLellen. Mrs. Miller was a devoted member of the Easton United Methodist Church and loved to travel with her husband Robert and their children. She loved to sew and quilt, and made a quilt for all of her grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Robert Miller in 1992; brothers, Forrest and Claude McLellen; sister Arlene Nummer. Surviving are her sons, Kevin (Nancy) Miller and Rene (Betsy) Miller both of Ionia; grandchildren, Bob, Joanna, Jay, and Jordan Miller; several nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service will be conducted by the Rev. Nancy Patera, Pastor at 11 am Monday, January 12, 2009 at Easton United Methodist Church. Interment will take place in the spring at Easton Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Schrauben-Lehman Funeral Home, 220 Rich Street, Ionia from 2-4 and 6-8 pm Saturday and 4-7 pm Sunday. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Easton United Methodist Church, in memory of Mrs. Marion Miller. Online condolences may be made at www.schraubenlehman.com
