Mark Strang

Age 51, passed away on Friday, November 4, 2011. He was born on September 27, 1960 in Lansing, MI the son of Richard and Joyce (Patrick) Strang. Mark was a Peer Support Specialist with Ionia County Community Mental Health. He was an avid fisherman, hunter and loved the outdoors. Mark also had a great love for his family. He was preceded in death by his father, Richard; grandparents, William Patrick and Charles and Florence Strang; several uncles and an aunt. He is survived by his mother, Joyce; sister, Kimberly (Michael) Fedewa; brothers, Jeffrey Strang, Richard Strang, and Barry (Leslie) Strang; grandmother, Eloise Patrick; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins; special friend, Jeff Donaldson. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday November 8, 2011 at St. Patrick Catholic Church, Portland. The family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. on Monday, November 7, 2011 at Lehman Funeral Homes, Portland. A Rosary will be prayed at 3:30 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Ionia County Community Mental Health, in memory of Mark.
