Mary D. Oxendale Portland Age 81, passed away on Saturday, December 1, 2012. She was born on May 26, 1931 in Lansing the daughter of George T. and Margaret Johnson. Mary enjoyed watching hummingbirds, tending to flower gardens, lighthouses and painting but most of all, she enjoyed taking care of and spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, George R. Johnson; sister, Marjorie Coffeey. Surviving are her husband of 62 years, Ralph; children Mark E. Oxendale, David (Sherry) Oxendale and Julia Kay Oxendale; grandchildren Raymond Oxendale, Sereana Oxendale, Niall (Cynthia) Oxendale, Benjamin Oxendale, Emma Oxendale, Zachariah Oxendale and Jazmyn Harrison; great grandsons Zachary and Steven Oxendale; sister, Loretta (Otis) Posey; several nieces and nephews. The Funeral Service will be conducted by Pastor Roy Atherton at 1:00 p.m., Friday, December 7, 2012 at the Lehman Funeral Home, 210 E. Bridge St., Portland. Interment will be in Danby Cemetery.
