Mary Elizabeth Wallace Portland, formerly of Tucson, Arizona Age 97, was rebirthed into heaven on October 5, 2016. Mary was born on July 26, 1919 in Detroit, MI to Frederick Oscar and Mary Josephine (Guyott) Prince. Mary married Richard H. Wallace on October 14, 1938 and he preceded her in death in January of 2003. She is also preceded in death by her son, Dennis H. Wallace and grand-daughter, Kimberly Kropp. Mary is survived by her daughter, Cheryl (Bob) Marshall of Philpot, KY; sons, Donald (Maureen) Wallace and Daniel (Tyann) Wallace, both of Portland; 12 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and 4 great-great-grandchildren. The funeral service will be conducted by Pastor Letisha Bowman at 11:00a.m., October 8, 2016 at the Portland United Methodist Church, 310 E. Bridge St., Portland, MI. Interment will be at Evergreen Cemetery, Tucson, AZ at a later date. The family will receive friends from 6-8p.m., Friday at Lehman Funeral Home, 210 E. Bridge St., Portland, MI and one hour prior to the funeral at the church.
