Ionia Age 52, passed away on September 25, 2010. He was born on September 11, 1958 in Ionia, Michigan the son of Richard and Virginia (Wray) Reed. Michael was an avid Detroit Red Wings, Detroit Lions, and Michigan Wolverine fan. He enjoyed watching it rain outside and loved watching birds and squirrels and his cat "Sky". He was preceded in death by his mother Virginia Reed. Surviving are his wife, LuAnn; children: Jason Tate, Tara (Scott) Doesburg, and Michael Reed; Grandchildren: James, Hunter, Dylan, and Alexis; brothers: Dale (Pat) Reed, Dan Reed, Bill Reed, and his fiance, Mary; mother-in-law Grace Gallop and all of the Shattuck Family. There will be no services. Arrangements are entrusted to Schrauben-Lehman Funeral Homes, Ionia. Memorial contributions may be made to the family.
