Michele Hoppes
Age 48, passed away on Monday, February 23, 2004 in Lansing, Michigan. She was born on November 3, 1955 in Lansing the daughter of Merlin and Patricia (Putnam) Hoppes. Ms. Hoppes attended St. Patrick's Catholic School in Portland, owned and operated Custom Upholstery by Michele, and was a hair stylist for many years. She was preceded in death by her father, Merlin Hoppes. Surviving are her mother, Patricia Hoppes of Portland; sisters, Barbara (Bill Waldorf) Schrauben of Lowell, Suzi Seal of Portland, Janet (Mike) Hyland of Portland, Patty (Gary) Bogard of Portland, Carol (Paul) Martin of Farmington, Roxie (Rod Wilkins) Getzen of Dewitt, Sherri (Dean) Fedewa of Portland, Terri (Jack) Schrauben of Portland, Laurie (Jeff) Cathcart of Portland; special friend, Richard Leseney of St. Johns; several nieces and nephews. The Memorial Service will be conducted by the Rev. Charles D. Hall, Pastor at 11:00 a.m. Friday, February 27, 2004 at the Schrauben-Lehman Funeral Home, Portland. Private Interment will take place in Portland Cemetery. For those desiring, memorial contributions may be made to the Hospice House of Mid Michigan, in memory of Michele Ann Hoppes. Obituary
