Minerva "Minnie" T. Hernandez Portland Age 75, born on November 16, 1931 in San Antonio, Texas the daughter of Francisco and Herminia (Trevino) Flores. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church. Minnie was a friend to everybody she knew, always making sure people were well fed and she enjoyed hosting parties. She enjoyed crafts, gardening and her flowers. Minnie is preceded in death by her parents, brother Arturo Flores, and sister Oralia DeLeon. She is survived by her husband of 53 years Felix, children Mary Jane (Ken) Hoppes of Portland, Sylvia (Tom) Moore of Riverview, FL, and Felix III (Patricia) Hernandez of Greensburg, KY, grandchildren Desiree Moore and Jessica Hoppes, sisters Maria Flores, Rebecca (Rosendo) Morales, and Bertha Lopez, numerous nieces, nephews, and friends including special friends Laura Linebaugh and Corabelle DeClerq. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 13, 2007 at St. Patrick Catholic Church, Portland with Rev. Larry King, presiding. Rite of Committal will follow at Portland Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2:30-4:30 and 7-9 p.m. on Friday at the Schrauben-Lehman Funeral Home, 210 E. Bridge St., Portland. The rosary will be prayed at 3:30 p.m. with a Scriptural Wake Service being said at 8:00 p.m. Online condolences may be made at www.schraubenlehman.com.
