Patricia Ann (Moses) Winegar Portland, Michigan Patricia Ann (Moses) Winegar was born in Muir, MI, on September 27, 1930, the fourth child of Russell Alger Joseph and Ellen Margaret (Kelley) Quigley. She died on Wednesday, November 20, 2013 at Sparrow Hospital. She lived almost her entire life in Ionia County, graduating from Lyons High School in 1946. On August 21, 1948 she married James Luther Moses. After a few years in Muskegon and Grand Ledge, they moved to Lyons, and eventually to Portland. During those years they had three children: James R. (Mirla) Moses, Kathryn E. (Steve) Hurl and Margaret M. (Tony) Droste. James L. died on February 13, 1998 after over 49 years of marriage. She later married Paul Ray Winegar on October 25, 2002. He passed away on January 25, 2010. Mom loved to bake, play bridge, do crossword puzzles (in ink!), and was an avid reader. In her later years Alzheimer's Disease stole all this from her. She had worked for the telephone company, a local doctor, and at the Lyons post office. Her parents and siblings also preceded her in death, as well as son-in-law Steve Hurl. Surviving are her three children, their spouses Mirla and Tony, eight grandchildren, several great grandchildren, and nieces and nephews. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Rev. Larry King at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, November 23, 2013 at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Portland, where she was a member for over 50 years. Rite of Committal will follow at Portland Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7-9 p.m. Friday at Lehman Funeral Homes, 210 E. Bridge Street, Portland. A Rosary will be prayed at 8 p.m. on Friday.
