Patricia "Pat" Lou Pfaff Westphalia, MI Age 81, was reunited with the love of her life, her husband, Carl J. Pfaff, on October 28, 2013. Patricia was born on February 21, 1932 in Westphalia, the daughter of Harold and Romilda (Cook) Wieber who preceded her in death. Patricia married her beloved husband Carl on June 13, 1953 and was married for 53 wonderful years and lived her whole life in Westphalia. She was a loving mother of 2 daughters and 2 sons: Pam (Don) Pung of Pewamo and Sherry (John) Doody of Lansing, Terry (Lynn) Pfaff of Brighton, and Brian (Kay) Pfaff of Brighton. She was also blessed with 8 grandchildren: Brandon, Heather (Kevin) Horbatt and Matthew Pung, Jessica and Adam Doody, Emily Pfaff, Morgan and Andrew Pfaff. She was also blessed with one very special great-granddaughter, Alyssa Horbatt. Patricia is also survived by her only sister and her husband, Colleen and Robert Kelly and special niece and nephews, Carol, Dan, and David and countless nieces, nephews and friends. Patricia was a homemaker until her children were grown and then she went to work part-time for Archie Tarpoff's Catering. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church and was a member of the Christian Mothers. Patricia's greatest passions were not only her children but following and participating in all of her grandchildren's lives by attending the countless functions and sporting events. She thoroughly enjoyed spending time the last two years with her great-granddaughter Alyssa and was so proud to be part of 4 generations of women. Patricia always looked forward to her summer vacations with the family and all of the annual family traditions. We will forever miss the presence and love of Patricia in our lives, but we will hold her memory forever in our hearts. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Father Mathias Thelen at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, November 2, 2013 at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Westphalia. Rite of Committal will follow at St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7-9 p.m. Thursday, and 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Friday at the St. Mary's Funeral Chapel, 210 N. Westphalia Street, Westphalia. Rosaries will be prayed at 8 p.m. Thursday and 3 p.m. Friday, and a Scriptural Wake Service will be held at 8 p.m. Friday.
