Paul M. Fox Pewamo, MI Age 88, passed away on Friday, September 19, 2014. He was born on April 30, 1926 in Pewamo, MI the son of Ernest and Anna (Schafer) Fox. Mr. Fox was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, serving in World War II, and was a member of the V.F.W. Post 3733 Fowler Westphalia Pewamo. Paul loved to ice fish, often taking his wife Helen, and enjoyed playing cards and going to the casino. Preceding him in death were his wife, Helen; parents; daughter, Julie Martin; great grandson, Jacob Martin; many brothers and sisters. Surviving are his children, Paula Fox, Charles (Cindy) Fox, Peggy Fox, and Robert (Judy) Fox; son-in-law, Luke Martin; grandson, Joseph (fiancee, Nicole Porubsky) Martin; step grandson, Brad (Sara) Brandt; great grandchildren, Isabella Rosalie Bair-Martin, Abagail Brandt, and Peyton Martin. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Rev. Charlon O. Mason at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, September 23, 2014 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Pewamo. Rite of Committal will take place at a later date at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, Pewamo. The family will receive friends from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Monday at the St. Mary's Funeral Chapel, 210 N. Westphalia Street, Westphalia. A Rosary will be prayed at 3 p.m., and a Scriptural Wake Service held at 8 p.m. on Monday at the funeral chapel.
