Age 83, passed away on Wednesday, December 24, 2003.  He was born on March 24, 1920 and raised in Portland, Michigan by his parents, Sidney and Martha (Hyland) Osman.  Mr. Osman worked for Julius Cook and Cook Brothers and for Charlie Gordon at the IGA Store in town.  He was preceded in death by his parents.  Surviving are his cousins:  John (Jean) West and family of Portland, George (Donna) Becker and family of Prescott, FL, Tom (Anna) Becker and family of Alger, MI, Ed (Bonnie) Leak and family of Lake Odessa, Nancy (Tom) Dowker and family of Lake Odessa, and Barb Sherrard of Portland.  The Funeral Service will be conducted by the Rev. Gregory Wolfe, Pastor of the Portland United Methodist Church at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, December 27, 2003 at the Schrauben-Lehman Funeral Home, Portland with interment following at Portland Cemetery.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service on Saturday.  For those desiring, memorial contributions may be made to the Carson City Hospice or to the Hospice House of Mid Michigan, in memory of Paul S. Osman.
