Portland Age 73, passed away peacefully on Monday, August 2, 2010 with the comfort and company of his family. Ray was bron on November 10, 1936 in Shepardsville, MI. the son of Ray and Daisy (Thayer) Adams. He worked at T.R.W. in Portland for 32 years. On December 29, 1955 he married Lynda Smith in Angola, IN.. Ray enjoyed cars, attending his grandchildren's sporting events and anything involving his sons or grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents Ray and Daisy Adams. Ray is survived by his loving wife of over 54 and half years, Lynda; sister, Charlotte (Dick) Hyland; sons: Rocky Adams of Lowell, Rick (Peggy) Adams of Portland, and Ron (Stacy) Adams of Portland; 8 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren with one on the way; special cousin, Butch Griffin of Perry; special aunt, Faye Reeves of Oakley. The Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, August 5, 2010 at the Schrauben-Lehman Funeral Home, 210 E. Bridge St., Portland. Interment will follow at Tuttle Cemetery, Ionia. The family will receive friends 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., Wednesday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions can be made in Ray's name to Eaton Community Hospice, 2675 S.
