Raymond Brownell

Age 41, passed away on Sunday, May 22, 2005. He was born on May 11, 1964 in Ionia, MI the son of Harold and Ireta (Luce) Brownell. Mr. Brownell was active in Boy Scout activities, and worked at Custom Office Furniture, where he handled fabrication and installation of office furniture. Raymond enjoyed spending time with his wife and boys, especially camping and sporting activities. He was preceded in death by his parents; grandparents; brother-in-law, Hugh Wolfington, Sr.; nephew, George Brownell, Jr.; niece, Autumn Wolfington. Surviving are his wife, Lori Brownell; sons, Richard and Alexander Brownell; sisters, Marsha Wolfington, Iva Brownell and Martha (Greg) Stull, all of Ionia; brothers, George (Vicky) Brownell of Zephyrhills, FL, Daniel (Donna) Brownell, Harold Jr. "Bill" Brownell, and Howard (Grace) Brownell, all of Ionia; mother and father-in-law, Norman and Ruth White; sister-in-laws, Norma Jean (Dutch) Baker and Patty (Jeff) Vandersloot and Carrie (Jim) Campbell; 17 nieces and nephews; 18 great nieces and nephews; many, many good friends. The Funeral Service will be conducted by the Rev. Kenneth Harger, Pastor at 11:00 a.m. Friday, May 27, 2005 at the Shiloh Community Church. Interment will follow at Woodard Lake Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Schrauben-Lehman Funeral Home, 220 Rich Street, Ionia from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Thursday. For those desiring, memorial contributions may be made to a trust fund set up for the family, in memory of Raymond J. Brownell.
