Age 58, loving mother and grandmother, passed away on Friday, September 5, 2003 in Grand Rapids, MI.  She was born on August 1, 1945 in Mexico the daughter of Jose and Dominga (DeLara) Ramos.  Surviving are her husband, Alejandro Martinez; 6 children, Maria Del Carmen Martinez of Sheridan, Patricia (Mario Esparza) Martinez of Virginia, Rafaela (Heriberto Garcia) Martinez of Wauconda, IL, Reyna Martinez of Grand Rapids, Juan Jose Martinez of Sheridan, and Diana Consuelo (Luis Mezquitic) Martinez of Sydney, MI; 7 grandchildren; 5 brothers; 5 sisters; several relatives and friends.  "A Mothers love is a circle, it never ends." The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by the Rev. Melvin Fox, Pastor at 11:00 a.m. Monday, September 8, 2003 at Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Ionia with Rite of Committal following at Mt. Olivet Catholic Cemetery, Ionia.  The family will receive friends at the Schrauben-Lehman Funeral Home, Cook Chapel, 220 Rich Street, Ionia from 2-4 and 7-8:30 p.m. Sunday.  A Vigil Service will be held at 8 p.m. Sunday.  Memorial Contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society in memory of Mrs. Rebeca R. Martinez.
