Richard E. Muscott, age 74, beloved husband, father, and grandfather, passed away July 4, 2006. He was born on September 25, 1931 in Flint, Michigan to the late Theodore and Rhea Muscott. He is survived by his dear wife of 49 years, Elvera; his son and daughter-in-law, Douglas and Christine Muscott; and his grandchildren, Ryan and Lauren. Richard was retired from the Michigan Reformatory where he served as groundskeeper for many years. In his younger years, after graduating from the Merchant Marine Academy, he also worked on the Great Lakes as an engineer on a freighter. He also served his country in the U.S. Army Signal Corp. He was an avid hunter, trapper, and fisherman, but his passion was antiques. According to his wishes, private services were held on July 7, with interment at Balcom Cemetery
