Obituary
Portland Age 73, passed away on Sunday, November 1, 2009. He was born on September 22, 1936 in Lansing the son of Charles and Florence (Hogle) Strang. Dick was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church and the K of C Council #2168 in Portland. He was a Specifications Engineer at General Motors retiring after 33 years of service. Dick is a graduate of the Eastern High School Class of 1955. He was preceded in death by his parents, 4 brothers and a sister. Surviving are his wife of 51 years, Joyce (Patrick); daughter Kimberly (Michael) Fedewa; sons Mark Strang, Jeffrey Strang, Richard Strang and Barry (Leslie) Strang; loving grandchildren; sister Barbara (Gerald) Davis; sisters-in-law, Margaret Strang and Ruth Strang; many nieces, nephews and cousins. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, November 4, 2009 at St. Patrick Church with Rev. Larry King, presiding. Rite of Committal will follow at Danby Cemetery. The family will receive friends 2-4 and 7-9 p.m., Tuesday at the Schrauben-Lehman Funeral Home, 210 E. Bridge St., Portland.
