Robert K. Peabody Portland, Michigan Robert Peabody, age 78 of Portland, passed away on April 4, 2015. He was born on August 5, 1936 in Portland, MI the son of Clarence and Bessie (Smith) Peabody. Bob retired after 42 years at TRW, Portland Plant. Preceding him in death are his wife, Janet (Hatinger) Peabody and brother Lawrence Peabody. He is survived by children, Kenneth (Denise) Peabody, Cynthia Bissell, Douglas (Karen) Peabody, and Marcia (Jeff) Hoppes; 13 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren; brother, Jerald Peabody of Portland and sister Marian Piecewski of Florida. A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, April 10, 2015 at the Portland United Methodist Church, with Pastor Keith Treman presiding. The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service on Friday at the church.
