Ronald Grant
Age 85, passed away Sunday, February 23, 2003. He was born March 14, 1917 in Covert, Michigan the son of Clyde and Blanche Grant. Mr. Grant married his wife, Opal, on June 4, 1938 in Auburn, IN and she survives him. Also surviving are daughter, Judy (Robert) Witwer of Charlotte; sons, Ronald (Bobbie) Grant and Terry (Brenda) Grant all of Portland; seven grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; three great great grandchildren; sister, Denise Saltzman of Coloma, MI; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by three brothers, Earl F. Grant, Rex M. Grant, and Clyde Grant, Jr. The family will receive friends at the Schrauben-Lehman Funeral Home, 210 E. Bridge St., Portland, on Tuesday from 12 to 3 p.m. Graveside services will be held Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. at Chapel Hill Memorial Garden, Lansing.
