Age 55, passed away on Sunday, March 8, 2009. He was born on December 29, 1953 in Ionia the son of Leo and Carol (Dixon) Piggott. Ron loved cooking, fishing, hunting, and building and remodeling things. He truly enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He was preceded in death by his father; brother, Bryan Piggott. Surviving are his mother, Carol Jean Rumisek; 5 siblings, Terry Piggott of Portland, Dale (Cindy) Piggott of Texas, Sharon (Kevin) Martin of Illinois, Monica (Brian) Almy of Eagle, and Maureen Piggott of Ionia; severa nieces and nephews. The Funeral Service will be conducted by the Rev. Melvin Fox at 11 am Wednesday, March 11, 2009 at the Schrauben-Lehman Funeral Home, 220 Rich Street, Ionia. Interment will take place in the spring at Mt. Olivet Catholic Cemetery, Ionia.
