Ronald Simon

Age 67, passed away on Thursday, February 9, 2012. He was born on January 27, 1945 in St. Johns, MI the son of Alvin and Loretta (Fedewa) Simon. Mr. Simon retired from General Motors after 42 years of service. Butch loved farming and performing custom combine work. He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Kathy Snyder. Surviving are his wife of 44 years, Phyllis Simon; children, Todd Simon, Brian (Shannon) Simon, and Craig (Alissa Hall) Simon; grandchildren, Hunter, Kaedyn and Maezie Simon, Brayden McNamara, and Kelsey Matonis; brothers, Roy (Ann) Simon, and Larry (Therese) Simon; 9 sisters-in-law; 2 brothers-in-law; many nieces and nephews. The Mass of Christian Burial will be con-celebrated by Msgr. Sylvester Fedewa and Rev. Donald Wieber at 10:30 a.m. Monday, February 13, 2012 at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Wesphalia. Rite of Committal will follow at St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery, Westphalia. The family will receive friends from 7-9 p.m. Saturday, and 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Sunday, at the St. Mary Funeral Chapel, 210 N. Westphalia Street, Westphalia. Rosaries will be prayed at 8 p.m. Saturday and 3 p.m. Sunday, with a Scriptural Wake Service being held at 8 p.m. Sunday.
