Grand Ledge Age 67, went to be with his Lord on Wednesday, April 14, 2010. He was born August 31, 1942 in Kalamazoo the son of Harry and Viola (Green) Walters. Mr. Walters had a strong faith in the Lord and was a wonderful Christian man who loved his family. He worked for the State of Michigan and retired after 35 years. He was preceded in death by his parents. Surviving are his wife of 39 years, Leeanne; children Patrick (Michelle) Walters of Portland and Roberta (Trey) Aughenbaugh of Charlotte; grandchildren Elaina, Angelia, Gwen, Margaux, Lizette and Anna; brothers Ken (Karen) Walters, Jerry (Aurora) Walters and Rick Walters all of Kalamazoo. Per his wishes, cremation has taken place, there will be no services. For those wishing, memorial contributions may be made to the City Rescue Michigan of Lansing - Maplewood Center, Grand Ledge Nazarene Church or First Congregational Church, Portland.
