Ronald Zinn Obituary

Age 54, passed away November 5, 2003.  He was born the son of Harold and Yvonne (Crane) Zinn on May 2, 1949 in Alma, MI.  Mr. Zinn attended Blanchard High School.  Ronald owned and operated Tommies Restaurant in Portland for 26 years, and Tommies Restaurant in Lansing for 4 years.  He also owned Cornerstone Press, where he did ministerial and missionary work.  Mr. Zinn was preceded in death by his step-father, Darrell Thomas.  Surviving are his mother, Yvonne Thomas of Mt. Pleasant; former wife, Sandy Zinn of Portland; children:  daughter Tammy (Dave) Reay of Portland, daughter Renee (Brent) Sandborn of Portland, son Ronald (Dana) Zinn of Sunfield, daughter Jennifer (fiance Timothy Zischke) Zinn of Lansing, daughter Jessica Zinn of Hubbardston, son Matthew Zinn of Portland, daughter Melissa Zinn of Portland; grandchildren:  Nathan Patrick, Jeff, Krista, and Jamie Reay, Kyle, Chelsea, and Aaron Sandborn, Marcus and Ashley Zinn, and Kaylee Muirhead.  A Memorial Service will be conducted by the Rev. Joe Robbe, Pastor of The Mount Hope Church of Portland, at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, November 8, 2003 at the Schrauben-Lehman Funeral Home, 210 E. Bridge St., Portland.  For those desiring, memorial contributions may be made to the wishes of the family, c/o the Schrauben-Lehman Funeral Home.
