Roy Wireman

Eagle Age 75, passed away on August 19, 2010. He was born on June 4, 1935 in Salyersville, KY. the son of Elzie and Nancy Wireman. Roy was a member of St. Patrick Church and the K of C Council #2168. He retired from General Motors after 32 years of service. He was enjoyed hunting, fishing, golfing, bowling and woodworking always taking pride in his work. He loved his grandkids and great grand kids they were the spice of his life. On September 4, 1965 he married Pauline Naseman and together they shared 45 years of marriage. Roy was preceded in death by his parents; 6 brothers and 4 sisters. Surviving are his wife, Pauline; children Angie (Pete) Pohl of Portland, Lucy (Russell Swisher) Black of Portland, Roy (Tina) Wireman of Eagle and Pam (Mike) Pung-Dahl of Grand Ledge; grandchildren Autumn (Scott) Peake, Peter (Tammy) Pohl, Brian and Brandan Black, Alison and Austin Wireman, Gavin and Jameson Pung and Everett and Amanda Dahl; great grandchildren Donovan, Carter and Taeghan Peake and Izabel Pohl; special friends Mike Pung, George Black and sister-in-law, Rosie Baker; 4 sisters; 1 brother; many nieces and nephews. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, August 24, 2010 at St. Patrick Catholic Church, with Rev. Larry King, presiding. Rite of Committal will follow at North Eagle Cemetery. The family will receive friends 7-9 p.m. Sunday and 2-4 and 7-9 p.m., Monday at the Schrauben-Lehman Funeral Home, 210 E. Bridge St., Portland.
