Ruth Minier

Age 86, went to be with her Lord on Tuesday, November 23, 2004. She was born on December 4, 1917 in Grandville, MI the daughter of Sidney and Bernice (Ides) Munn. Ruth's joys in life were reflected in her faith and love of Jesus, her love of her family, music and dance, and a good game of cards shared with friends or family. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Maurice; her daughters, Alice (Stanley) Woodhams, Shirley (Wally) Larson; sister, Bayonne Teed; parents, Sidney and Bernice Munn. Surviving are her daughter, Marian (Leonard) Park of Belding; sons, Elwin (Betty) Minier of Pewamo and Richard (Bobbie) Minier of Ada; 27 grandchildren; 68 great grandchildren; 19 great great grandchildren; brothers, Marion Munn and Beryl Munn. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by the Rev. Melvin Fox, Pastor at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, November 27, 2004 at Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Ionia. Rite of Committal will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens, Ionia. The family will receive friends at the Schrauben-Lehman Funeral Home, 220 Rich Street, Ionia from 2-4 and 7-8:30 p.m. Friday. A prayer service will be held at 8 p.m. Friday. For those desiring, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Michigan, in memory of Mrs. Ruth M. Minier.
