Scott Frederick Kabelitz Westphalia Age 34, passed away on Saturday, November 17, 2007. He was born on September 21, 1973 in Lansing, Michigan the son of Wilferd and Theresa (Warnke) Kabelitz. Scott was an assistant Boy Scout Leader for Troop # 258 in Portland who enjoyed going on trips to Canada with the Scouts and fixing computers. Surviving are his parents, Wilferd and Theresa Kabelitz; godparents, Stanley (Rita) Miros and uncle, Paul (Laura) Kabelitz. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Rev. Cecilio Reyna at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 21, 2007 at St. Mary Catholic Church, Westphalia. Rite of Committal will follow at North Eagle Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. on Tuesday at the Schrauben-Lehman Funeral Home, 210 E. Bridge St., Portland. The rosary will be prayed at 3 p.m. and a Scriptural Wake Service will be prayed at 8 p.m., Tuesday. Online condolences may be made at www.schraubenlehman.com.
