Scott Parks
Age 43, passed away on Tuesday, November 15, 2011. He was born on November 19, 1967 in Ionia, MI the son of Jack and Sharon (Gurnee) Parks. Scott enjoyed fishing, camping, being in the outdoors, as well as painting, playing the electric guitar, and magic tricks with cards. He loved spending time with his nieces, and enjoyed pulling pranks on his family and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Jack; grandparents, Chester Gurnee and Kenneth and Dorothy Parks; great grandpa, Joe Wiggins. Surviving are his mother, Sharon Parks; brother, Jason Parks; nieces, Sabrina Mackey, Charity Parks and Faith Parks; grandma, Donna Gurnee; several aunts, uncles and cousins. The Memorial Service will be held at 4:00 p.m. Sunday, November 20, 2011 at the Blue Water Cafe, 323 W. Main St., Ionia, with the Rev. Kenneth Harger presiding. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family, in memory of Scott. Arrangements are entrusted to Lehman Funeral Homes, Ionia.
