Shirley Cousinaw

Age 79, passed away on Tuesday, May 15, 2012. She was born on December 22, 1932 in Lansing, MI the daughter of Melvin and Lilly (Fisk) Peters. Shirley was a member of Shiloh Community Church, and worked as a merchandiser at Meijer. While her kids were growing up, she loved everything they were involved with. Shirley was a very loving and giving person, and she loved to share a hug. She married Harold Cousinaw on December 28, 1951, and he preceded her in death in 2000. Also preceding her in death were her parents; sister-in-law, Betty Bieganowski. Surviving are her sons, Michael (Pauline) Cousinaw of Ionia, Steven (Debbie) Cousinaw of Ionia, and Thomas (Lou Ann) Cousinaw of Sheridan; 9 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; brother, Melvin "Lanny" (Marcele) Peters, Jr. of Cottonwood, AZ; brother-in-law, Stanley Bieganowski of Capac, MI; 4 nephews. The Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, May 21, 2012 at Shiloh Community Church, Orleans, with Pastor Ken Harger presiding. Interment will follow at Easton Township Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 4-8 p.m. Sunday at Lehman Funeral Homes, 220 Rich Street, Ionia.
