Stanley Pung

Portland Age 83, passed away on June 8, 2012. He was born on December 5, 1928 in Westphalia the son of Norman and Laurina (Stump) Pung. Stanley was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church in Portland, the K of C Council #2168 and the Catholic Order of Forresters. Stanley retired from Consumers Energy after 37 years of service. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Richard P. Pung. Surviving are his wife of 59 years, Iva; children Linda (Gary) Clarke, Bill (Kathy) Pung, Karen (Joe) Towner, Bob Pung and Lori (Jeff) Stolte; grandchildren Lindsay, Eric and Brittany Clarke, Chrissi (Trevor) Mahoney, Erin (Jesse) Caszatt, Mark (Amy) Pung, Jenna Pung and Anna Pung; 6 great grandchildren; brother, Donald (Elizabeth) Pung; sister-in-law, Rosemary Pung. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m., Monday, June 11, 2012 at St. Patrick Catholic Church with Rev. Larry King, presiding. Rite of Committal will follow at Portland Cemetery. The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m., Saturday and 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., Sunday at the Lehman Funeral Home, 210 E. Bridge St., Portland.
