Westphalia Loving husband, father, grandfather and everyone's friend passed away on Sunday, September 4, 2011, at the age of 70. Stanley was born on July 30, 1941, the son of Melvin and Marian (Fedewa) Wieber. He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Knights of Columbus and served 30 years on the Westphalia Fire Department. Stanley loved gardening, fishing, playing cards, watching the Detroit Tigers and spending time at the family cottage. He owned and operated Crystal Flash/Westphalia Oil Company. He is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Louis Wieber; brothers-in-law, Gerald and Robert Trierweiler; father-in-law, Leland P. Trierweiler. Surviving are his wife of 48 years, Linda; children, Kevin (Lynne) Wieber and Shelly (Gene) Pline both of Westphalia; grandchildren, Brooke, Brandon and Blake Wieber, Jordan, Austin, Haley and Damon Pline; sisters, Eileen and Jeanette Trierweiler, Sr. Ann Terrance and Chris Piggott; sister-in-law, Peg Wieber; mother-in-law, Marcella Trierweiler; sisters-in-law Monica (Edwin) Schneider, Pat (Ken) Simon; brothers-in-law Leland R. (Therese) Trieweiler, Kenneth (Eileen) Trierweiler and Dale (Beth) Trierweiler and many loving nieces and nephews. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Rev. James Conlon at 10:30 A.M., Friday, September 9, 2011 at St. Mary's Catholic Church. Rite of Committal will be in St. Mary's Cemetery. The family will receive friends at St. Mary's Funeral Chapel, 210 N. Westphalia St. on Wednesday from 7:00-9:00 P.M., with the rosary being prayed at 8:00 P.M., and Thursday from 2:00-4:00 P.M. and 7:00-9:00 P.M., with the rosary being prayed at 3:00 P.M. and a Scripture Service at 8:00 P.M.
