Theola May (Mulnix) Werner "Ole" Portland Age 88, born January 28, 1928 to LeRoy and Marie (Steele) Mulnix, passed away June 6, 2016. Ole married Harold A. Werner on February 1, 1947 and was a lifelong mother and homemaker. She was a member of St. Patrick Church, past president of the Altar Society and worked on the Portland Township Election Board for many years. She enjoyed playing cards, bingo, bowling and trips to the casino. Ole was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, Harold, in 2014; son, John Edgar Werner; grandson, Cody Werner; son-in-law, Rowland Martin; brothers, Arnold, Floyd, Don, Larry and Dale Mulnix; sister Donna Mulnix; and many brothers and sisters-in-law. Surviving are her children, Susan (Rod) Hayes, Daniel (Jean) Werner, Cathi (Carl) Pratt, Bernard "Ben" Werner, Patricia Tenbrink, Barbara Werner, Stephen Werner and daughter-in-law, Linda Werner, Joseph (Sonda) Werner, John (Joyce) Werner and Janine Martin; 20 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; sisters, Carol Fox and Esther Irrer; brother, Gerald Mulnix. Mass of Christian Burial will be 11 A.M. Friday at St. Patrick Catholic Church with Fr. Larry King presiding. Interment will follow at Portland Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 3-5 & 7-9 P.M. Thursday at Lehman Funeral Homes where a rosary will be prayed at 4 P.M. and a Scripture Service at 8 P.M. Memorial contributions may be made to the hospice of your choice.
