I am so sorry to hear of the loss of your Mom. I have SO many great memories of her from years ago as the cook at Girl Scout Camp when I was a counselor. More recently I had the privilege of chatting and reminiscing with her about those times as she lived at Golden Bridge Manor where my Mom lived. It was so very nice to reconnect with her after all of those years. She was a super person and I loved her sense of humor. May your memories help you thru these difficult days.

Extending our sympathy to the family at the loss of your mother, a real "woman of God", who spent her life serving others in his name. Remember all those times she drove us to the basketball games, as well, Carol. May you know the peace of the Lord during this time. Love, Agnes and Bill Fedewa

Carol, Joyce, Sue, and Theodore, Your mom was an inspiration to many. When I let Brandon Spence know of her passing, he sent me the following message that I would like to share with you. "My sympathy to my St. Pat's Portland family. I hold Verena in my heart. She was a wonderful lady. May the joys of heaven be hers. Brandon Spence" God bless all of you. Tom and Therese Jandernoa

Mrs. Kahn, Dave and family, I am very sorry to hear about Verena. I too remember her as a great servant at St. Patrick's and a talented woman who was glad to share her talents and gifts.
