Verena C. Rademacher Westphalia Born June 16, 1922, in Dallas Township the daughter of William and Louis M. (Luttig) Smith. Verena married Elmer H. Rademacher on May 26, 1943 in Westphalia. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, the Christian Mothers Society and the Catholic Order of Foresters. Verena was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years Elmer in 2005, son Gary Rademacher, daughter Beverly Holland, Great-Granddaughter Kaitlin Paul, brothers Aloysius, Isidore, and Celestine Smith, and sister Eleanore Simon. Verena is survived by her sons Joseph (Laura) Rademacher, John Rademacher, Thomas (Ann) Rademacher, and Roy (Laure) Rademacher, daughter Mary T. (Jim) Morgan, daughter-in-law Mary Rademacher, son-in-law Jim (Cindy) Holland, 21 Grandchildren, 7 Great-Grandchildren, sisters Dorothy Lenneman, Marion Thelen, Leona Leik, Loretta Thelen, and brother Paul (Rita) Smith. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Msgr. Sylvester Fedewa at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, November 25, 2006 at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Westphalia. Rite of Committal will be held in St. Mary's Cemetery. The family will recieve friends from 7-9 p.m. on Thursday and 2-4 and 6-9 p.m. on Friday at the St. Mary's Funeral Chapel, 210 N.
