Loving wife, mother, aunt, and grandmother was called home by her Lord on Sunday, July 18, 2010 at the age of 78. She was born on January 30, 1932 in Day Township the daughter of James and Ruth (Jarstfer) Wright. Wanda married LaVern L. Raab on April 15, 1950 and together they traveled throughout the world while he was in the military and had stops in Nebraska, Bermuda, Maryland, and Texas and their children were born during this time. She retired from the State of Michigan after 15 years of service and was a member of the Shiloh Community Church, the American Legion, the VFW, and the Ionia Moose Lodge. She was everybody's grandma and had a heart of gold. She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother and a sister. Surviving are her husband of 60 years, LaVern; children, Sharon (Craig) Pearce of Saranac and Gailene Briggs of Ionia; grandchildren, Mark (Stacey) Kamradt of Belding and Dana Kamradt of Ionia; step grandchildren, Kristin (Jamie) Petersen, Nanci (Michael) Arnold, and Hope (Billy) Blanchard; 11 great grandchildren. The Funeral Service will be held at 11 am Wednesday, July 21, 2010 at Shiloh Community Church, Orleans with Rev. Kenneth Harger, presiding. Interment will take place at Tuttle Cemetery, Ionia. The family will receive friends at the Schrauben-Lehman Funeral Homes, Ionia from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday.
