William Bruder

Age 58, passed away on Sunday, January 30, 2005. He was born on August 28, 1946 in Northville, MI the son of William and Dorothy (Fisher) Bruder. William enjoyed woodworking, golfing, fishing and especially trains. A highlight for Bill that brought him great pride was the vacation he took to Alaska. He was preceded in death by his parents. Surviving are his wife of 14 years, Karen; daughter, Heather Dolby; son, Brad Bruder; grandchildren, Jessie Bruder, Heather Walker and Justin Bruder; sisters, Sue (Larry) Loucks of Plant City, FL, Elizabeth Kraudelt of Westland and Margaret (Rick) Offerman of Wayne; uncle, John (Mijj) Beckett of Portland; many nieces and nephews. The Funeral Service was conducted by the Rev. Donald Chapel, Pastor at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, February 2, 2005 at the Schrauben-Lehman Funeral Home, Portland. Interment took place at Portland Cemetery. The family received friends at the funeral home from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday. For those desiring, memorial contributions may be made to the Salvation Army, in memory of Mr. William C. Bruder.
