Wilma M. Clark Ionia Age 77, passed away peacefully on Monday, August 27, 2007 with her family surrounding. She was born on April 21, 1930 in Ionia, Michigan the daughter of Frank and Mabel (Gallagher) Sharp. Wilma was a lifetime member and graduate of Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Ionia. She enjoyed spending time with her family and dogs, as well as traveling and line dancing. Wilma is preceded in death by her husband, Paul Clark; son, Douglas Clark; and sister, Mary Ueberroth. Surviving are a son, David (Pat) Clark, daughter, Gail (Chuck) Kanouse and daughter-in-law, Beverly Clark all of Ionia; sister, Jean (Ron) Beyer of Hastings grandchildren, Christopher, Laurie, Michael, Aaron, Neil, Matthew and Nicholas; great-grandchildren, Caiden, Conner, Collin, Jaxon, Ryleigh and Braedyn; and beloved dog, Buddy; many nieces, nephews, dear friends. A Memorial Mass was celebrated by Rev. Melvin Fox at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 30, 2007 at Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Ionia. The family received friends from 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday at the Schrauben-Lehman Funeral Home, 220 Rich St., Ionia. A Scriptural Wake Service was held at 8 p.m., Wednesday. Rite of Committal took place at Mt. Olivet Catholic Cemetery. Contributions may be made to either the Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic Church/School, or to the Faith Hospice in Wilma’s name.
