Wyola Hanes
Wyola G. Hanes Portland Wyola Grace (Larsen) Hanes, age 89, died peacefully in her sleep at McLaren Hospital, Greenlawn Campus, on July 20, 2017. Wyola was born in Astoria, Oregon on August 23, 1927. She was married to Tracy (Sandy) D. Hanes, who preceded her in death on September 8, 1998. She is also preceded in death by an infant son, Dennis Hanes and grandson, Adam Moffatt. Surviving are children, Janice (Ed) Moffatt, Theresa (Richard) Cory, Tracy (Anna) Hanes, Faron Hanes, Juanita (Scott) Harris, Lori Ackerman, Charlene (Kevin) Nickleson; 15 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Bev (Bill) Rusche and brother-in-law Merlin Hanes; and many nieces and nephews. Wyola was active in the Hesperian American Legion Post, the VFW post, and the Eastern Stars. Cremation has taken place. Memorial services will be announced at a later date.
