Julie A Kent

Julie Kent, age 47, of Midland, formerly of Sheridan, passed away on Friday, July 31, 2020 at McLaren Bay Region Hospital in Bay City. A fun and spirited person, Julie was someone who wasn’t afraid to talk to you, even if she didn’t know you. She was an amazing cook and loved making her families famous beef and noodles. She liked to draw and sing, go swimming at the lake, and traveling. But the thing Julie loved the most was being a mom and grandma and spending time with them. Julie is survived by her daughters, Kaylie Kent and Devin Kent; her sisters, Vickie (Rick) Vogel; Linda Kent; Sandra (David) Zimmerman; Janice (Michael) Shepard; Janet (Carl) Hollister; brothers, Steven (Julie) Kent; Ronald Kent; Duane (Jenny) Kent; many nieces and nephews; and lots of great friends. Julie was preceded in death by her parents, Vern & Kay (Gyger) Kent and her brother, Robert Slayton. A celebration of Julie’s life is being planned for a later date.
