Iva Warner

Iva Mae Warner died Tuesday, May 15, 2007 at the age of 85. She was born March 1, 1922 in Lansing, MI the daughter of Earl and Gladys (Harper) Darnell. She was a member of Pilgrim United Methodist Church, was a volunteer at Clinton Memorial Hospital and Volunteer of the Year in 1999. She was a secretary in the Clinton County Clerks Office and the Clinton County Board of Education for several years.  On October 9, 1943 she married Ray Warner Jr. and the two enjoyed spending winters in Arizona until his death in 1995.  She was also predeceased by a grandson Erik, and two sisters, Ila Marie Whitlock and Arlene Viges.  Surviving are two sons, Les (Martha) Warner of Perrinton, Lynn (Vanessa) Warner of St. Johns; six grand children, Troy (Sandi), Brent (Kelli), Scott (Brandi), Trisha VanDerBos, Andrew, and Brandon and ten great grandchildren. Funeral services will be 1:00 pm Friday, May 18, 2007 at Pilgrim United Methodist Church 2965 W. Parks Rd. St. Johns with Pastor Ken Bremer officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Rest Cemetery.  The family will receive relatives and friends 6-8 pm Wednesday and 2-4 and 6-8 pm Thursday at Keck-Coleman Funeral Home St. Johns 989-224-4422. Memorials may be made to Pilgrim United Methodist Church.
