Raymond J. Rademacher died Saturday, March 31, 2007 at the age of 84. He was born October 11, 1922 in Fowler, MI the son of Anthony and Elizabeth (Goerge) Rademacher. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Knights of Columbus, U.A.W., Local #925 and served as the union retiree’s chairman. Ray enjoyed the outdoors especially hunting and fishing and was an avid gardener. Ray married Shirley Stoneman on August 30, 1947 and she survives him. Also surviving are three sons, Thom (Nancy) of Brighton, Richard (Elaine) of Traverse City, Gary (Linda) of St. Johns; 7 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a sister, Florence Campbell and a brother Edwin. Mass of the Christian Burial will be Celebrated 10:00 am Wednesday, April 4, 2007 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 109 Linden St. Johns with Rev. Fr. Eoin Murphy as celebrant. Rite of Committal will follow at Mt. Rest Cemetery. The family will receive relatives and friends 6 – 8 pm Monday and 2-4 and 6-8 pm Tuesday with a Vigil Service at 7:00 pm on Tuesday at Keck-Coleman Funeral Home, St. Johns 989-224-4422.
