Gertrude F. Patzkowsky, 97, of St. Joseph, passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 9, 2020, in Holland. A celebration of life service will be held privately with the family in respect of social distancing. Burial will take place in Riverview Cemetery, St. Joseph. Gertrude was born on January 21, 1923, to George and Ethel Hawkins in Detroit, MI. On November 22, 1942, she married Leroy Patzkowsky. She was a long-time member of Trinity Lutheran Church, St. Joseph, retired from Heath Company. Gertrude enjoyed going out to eat and playing cards with her family. Gertrude is survived by her children, Joyce (Kurt) Tillmann and Kenneth Patzkowsky; sister-in-law, Ruth Patzkowsky; grandchildren, Julie (Kelly) Clark, Jeff Tillmann and Kiah Patzkowsky; grandchildren, Jacob, Elijah, and Noah Tillmann, Kennedy, Kaden and Cooper Clark; nephew, Don Barker and niece, Ellen (Larry) Marshall. She was preceded in death by her husband, LeRoy Patzkowsky.
