LAWANDA M. DAVEY Passed away on July, 19 2015, at the age of 94 surrounded by her loving family. She was the devoted wife of the late Nelson Davey Sr. for 62 years and will be greatly missed by her five children, Evelyn Begin (the late Peter), Sandra Breen (the late James), Geraldine (Gerri) Tessmer (the late James), Nelson Davey (Carole) and Wanda Marie Morrison. She was the proud beloved grandmother of 16, great-grandmother of 30, and great-great grandmother of 5. She also will be missed by many nieces, nephews and many friends and relatives. She was the sister of the late Allan Joseph (Sylvia), Richard Joseph (Marilyn) and Anthony Joseph and beloved sister in law of Loren Davey (Valerie). She was the very good friend of Delores Eggan. Lawanda was very religious and an avid member of St. Sharbel Parish where she would spend many happy hours working for various functions. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, July 22, 2015 from 2:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Chas. Verheyden Funeral Home, 28499 Schoenherr, Warren. Rosary will be at 7:00 pm. A funeral Mass will be held 10:00 am on July 23, 2015 at St. Matthias Catholic Church, 12509 19 Mile Road, Sterling Heights in state at 9:30 am.
