Ione Folwick

Age 87, passed away naturally on Feb 26, 2019. Ione was born on Jan 29, 1932 in Silver Creek, MN to Ernest and Daisy (Sutton) Repke. After graduating from Annandale High School, she married William Folwick in 1953 and raised three sons together. They were married for 31 years and traveled the world serving our country for 20 years in the US Navy until Bill retired in 1974. After retiring, they settled back to Minnesota where they eventually split. Ione spent the majority of her single life travelling with friends and spending time with family, taking advantage of the newly found freedom. She adored her grandchildren and extended family. Ione was preceded in death by former husband, Bill Folwick; two brothers and six sisters. She is survived by one sister; three sons, Jeffery, Lewis (Julie) and Nicholas (Rebecca); two grandchildren, Courtney (Hammonds) and Kelly; several other relatives and many friends. A memorial service will be held at Excelsior Covenant Church (19955 Excelsior Blvd, Excelsior, MN) on Saturday, April 6th at 2:00 pm. Visitation at 1:00 pm. A reception will follow the service.
