Lawrence (Larry) Mazon formerly of Blaine and now Cambridge passed away peacefully on June 18th 2019 after a 12-year battle with CML and a 4-year battle with lung cancer. He’s “saving a place for us at the cool kids table”. Larry was born 11/1/1950 in Chula Vista, CA and number ten of twelve children born to Ramon Santa Cruz Mazon and Esther Stevens Mazon. He was a US Army Veteran serving his country with boots on the ground in Viet Nam. Larry is survived by his wife of 35-years Kathryn (Hanson), his son Ryan Mazon (Robin), daughters Holly Mazon-Johnson (Weston), Heather Mazon and grandchildren Madison and Ryan Mazon Jr and Logan Johnson. A celebration of Larry’s life will be held at Kozlak-Radulovich Blaine Chapel (107th Ave. NE & Hwy. 65) on Monday, July 29, 2019 at 11 AM with visitation on hour prior. In lieu of flowers memorials preferred to a Veteran support organization of donors choosing.
