Louis Bernard Leisdon
Passed away at the age of 90 on July 15, 2019. He was joking and laughing up until the very end. Preceded in death by parents, Marie & Bernard and sisters Theresa Schulte, Mary & Bernadette. Survived by loving wife of 56 years, Sandra Ann (née Frane), sons Brad (Maureen), Craig (Audra), Kevin (Deniece), grandchildren Garrett, Carlo, Clara and Vinny, and 6 granddogs. Also survived by sisters Rheta Wollin & Angie Magee, sisters-/brothers-in-law, and many nieces, nephews & friends who loved him very much. A proud U.S. Navy veteran who served in combat aboard the U.S.S. Rowan during the Korean War. Louis had a lifelong love of music, travel, good food and good times spent with those he cared about. His family & friends fondly remember gatherings accompanied by his accordion playing. Funeral Service 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 23, 2019 with visitation 1 hour prior and luncheon to follow at ST. BONIFACE CATHOLIC CHURCH (629 NE 2nd St, Mpls.). Special thank you to North Memorial Hospice & the parish of St. Boniface.
