Steve Larson

Steve Larson, age 79, died peacefully at home on March 19, 2019. A devoted husband to his wife Diane, loving father of Malinda and Michelle and grandfather to Triston, Alix and Cam. As a young man Steve was in the Navy and was on the USS Carter Hall LSD 3. He enjoyed riding motorcycles and he was also a car enthusiast; he loved his 51' Chevy Pickup. He was a member of the MSRA and a regular attendee and volunteer at the “Back to the 50’s” car show. He loved going to various car show events with his family and friends Tom, Roger, and Gary, just to name a few. Steve enjoyed fishing with his son-in-law Andy, helping restore old cars with his other son-in-law Tim, working on his wife’s family farm, and annoying his neighbors by feeding their dogs special treats…sorry Tom and Rene!! Steve also took up bicycle riding for a hobby and did so for as long as his could. He even rode on the icy and snowy roads. He loved going to Las Vegas with Diane, watching Walker, Texas Ranger, listening to Alan Jackson and eating Diane’s wonderful cooking! Steve is survived by his loving wife Diane, his children Michelle (Tim) Richter, Malinda (Andy) Lynch, his brother Bob Westover, sisters Betty Hoffman and Cindy (Larry) Meyers, his grandchildren Triston, Alix and Cam and numerous nephews and nieces. Steve was preceded in death by his parents and his sister Clara Anderson. A Memorial Gathering will be held from 3-5 PM Saturday, March 30, 2019 at KOZLAK-RADULOVICH BLAINE CHAPEL (1385 107th Ave NE, Blaine). The family asks that any flower orders be made through Flowerama (763-755-7100). Mention Malinda's name to receive free delivery.
