Robin Warner

Robin Louise Warner, age 63, of Inver Grove Heights, passed away surrounded by love on January 4, 2020 from liver failure. Robin was born on December 12, 1956 in Menomonie, Wisconsin and was always proud of her Wisconsin farm heritage. She graduated from Elmwood High School in 1975 and the University of Wisconsin –Eau Claire in 1979 with a degree in Business Administration. After college she moved to St. Paul and put her accounting skills to work at People’s Electric. In 1991 she started at BWBR and continued there for 28 years. Robin was raised in the Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Church, had a strong faith, and was active in church activities. She was known for her kindness, spirit and sense of humor. She loved working on family ancestry, scrapbooking, traveling, and planting many hostas and flowers in her yard. Her most beloved activity was spending time with her family, especially her granddaughter, Ella Jo. Robin was the best at cuddling and could put Ella to sleep faster than anyone else. Robin was preceded in death by her father, Jerry Gasteyer, and sister, Penny Lecheler. Robin is survived by her husband of 31 years, Richard (Rick); son, Mitchell; daughter Sarah (Justin) and granddaughter, Ella Jo; her mother, Beatrice Gasteyer; sister, Julie; brother-in-law, Mark; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and colleagues. A celebration of her life will be held on Friday, January 10, 2020 at 11:00 at Grace Lutheran Church in South St. Paul with visitation one hour prior to the service. A Gathering of Family & Friends Thursday 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Kandt & Tetrick Funeral Home, 140 8th Avenue North, South St. Paul Lunch will be served immediately following the service. Burial will be at Fort Snelling at a later date.
