Stephen Thrower Oliver October 6, 1951 – January 13, 2020 Stephen Thrower Oliver, T-Bo, passed from this life on January 13, 2020. Stephen was born in Kosciusko MS on October 6, 1951, to William Owen Oliver Sr. and Mary Ann Thrower Oliver. He was a graduate of Kosciusko High School and Mississippi State University. He was a member of Crossgates Baptist Church in Brandon MS and had been attending Parkway Baptist Church in Kosciusko. Stephen was always a "people person" which served him well in his insurance and funeral home careers. He suffered a disabling stroke in 1993 but never lost his sense of humor and sharp wit and always loved sharing a good joke with friends. He is disabled no longer and is free from pain and limitations. Stephen is survived by two sons, Jon Stephen Oliver and Robert Hayes Oliver, brothers Owen Oliver (Jeanne), Ben Oliver and David Oliver (Renae), grandchildren, extended family and a host of friends. Special thanks to Stephen's personal care assistants Tony and Shelia Brooks, whose care allowed him to live independently the last couple of years. A celebration of life will be held 6:30pm Thursday, January 16, 2020 at Culpepper Funeral Home in Kosciusko MS. Visitation will be 5:00 – 6:30 pm at Culpepper Funeral Home.
