Mrs. Edith Elizabeth Pace age 85, passed away Tuesday August 20, 2019 at Regency Hospital in Meridian, MS. Visitation will be held Thursday August 22, 2019 at Wolf Funeral Services in Lake, MS from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM. A graveside service will follow at Hazel Baptist Church Cemetery in Lake, MS. Mr. Levi Jones will officiate. Elizabeth, known as “Widdie” to her family, was the last of seven siblings, a daughter of a farmer and a military wife until 1968. Elizabeth lived in Lake, MS for several years and Collinsville, MS for over 20 years. She spent the last two years of her life in Scooba, MS. Elizabeth read her Bible religiously, every day. She lived a wonderful life and was truly blessed. She knew her Savior and was prepared to go home. Do not weep for her. Elizabeth was preceded in death by her parents; Jesse Van Etten and Jimmie Weems; her grandson Jim Pace Wolfe of Melbourne, Fl. She is survived by her husband of almost 67 years, James Wallace Pace and her children, Betty Cotton ( Lonnie) of Zachary, LA and Steven Pace of Newton, MS; five grandchildren, Jody Jordan ( Beth) of Lake, MS, Todd Jordan ( Amber) of Lake, MS, Ashley O’Bannon (Michael) of Lena, MS, Stevie Pace of Lake, MS and Amber Creel ( Ashley) of Lake, MS. Pallbearers will be Jody Jordan, Todd Jordan, Scott Pace, Derrick Pace, Ethan Godwin and Richard Goggins. Honorary Pallbearers are Lewis Crosby and Jerry Crosby.
